What CDA Church Believes In
Building a Stronger Community Through Faith, Love, and Service
At CDA, we are dedicated to reviving our community through a genuine relationship with God. We believe in the power of love, connection, service, and excellence as core pillars of our faith. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can experience God’s presence and grow spiritually. Whether you are new to faith or looking to deepen your relationship with God, CDA is a place where you can belong, connect with others, and serve with purpose.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, revealing God’s love to the world. 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-4, 1:29; Acts 1:11, 2:22-24; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4, 4:15
We believe that all people everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and for the salvation of lost and sinful people, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ result in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we believe that God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven and condemn the unrighteous to eternal punishment in hell. Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7
We believe that the ministry of evangelism (sharing and proclaiming the message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and discipleship (helping followers of Christ mature in Him) is the responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15; 1 Peter 3:15
We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end, and that we must care for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellow humans. As followers of Christ, we are called to dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His authority over our lives, and to the ministry of evangelism. We believe in loving our neighbors as ourselves and living in a way that reflects the love of Christ. Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10; Colossians 2:6-10; 1 Peter 3:15
Our Core Values
Love is the foundation of who we are. We believe we are called to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love people the way Christ loves us. At CDA, love isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we demonstrate. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Whether you’ve walked with God for years or are just beginning to explore faith, you matter here. We lead with grace, kindness, and compassion in every interaction.
We believe life change happens in meaningful relationships. God designed us for community, not isolation. That’s why we prioritize authentic connection with God and with one another. Through worship, small groups, serving teams, and shared experiences, we create spaces where people can grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and find encouragement for every season of life. At CDA, you’re not meant to just attend you’re meant to belong.
We don’t just go to church we are the church. Serving is how we live out our faith in practical ways. We believe every person has unique gifts and talents given by God, and when we use them to serve others, we reflect His heart. Whether it’s serving within the church, reaching our local community, or supporting outreach efforts, we are committed to making a tangible impact with humility and purpose.
We give God our very best in all that we do. Excellence isn’t about perfection it’s about honoring God through preparation, integrity, and wholehearted effort. From our worship services to our outreach initiatives, we pursue excellence because we believe God deserves our best. We strive to create environments that are thoughtful, intentional, and impactful so that nothing distracts from experiencing His presence.
